Youth Island NY Mentoring Program

Youth Island NY offers a year-round mentoring program every Friday and Saturday, where dedicated volunteer mentors meet with students weekly to provide guidance, support, and positive role models.

Our mentoring program includes:

• Character Education – Following lessons and resources from MentorPortal.org

• Arabic Classes – Developing basic Arabic language and Quranic Arabic skills

• Reading Time – Building strong reading habits and academic skills

• Activities & Enrichment – Fun, educational, and team-building activities

• Soccer League – Sports, teamwork, and healthy competition

• Winter & Summer Camps – Educational, recreational, and leadership experiences

• Free College Guidance for High School Students – Support with college planning, applications, and preparation

• Volunteer & Extracurricular Activities – Opportunities to develop leadership, service, and teamwork skills

• Humanitarian Trips – Meaningful experiences that encourage compassion, service, and global awareness
