Youth Island NY wants to extend our gratitude to all the participants that joined us in our first special “Youth Island Talks” program.
In our first Talks program, students discussed an article selected from the Fountain Magazine named “Humanities, Science, and Globalization.” Participants discussed the fundamentals of scientific research and the impact it has in our societies, what are the essentials of social life and what do they consist of, what aspects construct and shape our social life, what constitutes a morally right and wrong thing, and many more. The exchange of ideas and opinions between our participants greatly reflects the goal of these Talks, that of sharing ideas and sparking thoughtful conversations. We hope you found our “Youth Island Talks” program engaging, fun, and beneficial, and we hope to see you in our future Talks.
