As Youth Island NY, we organized this event named “Middle School Games & Activities”, at Kings Bay Y in Brooklyn. This program offers a knowledge contest, and variety of games that they play as a group. Our middle school students from Brooklyn, Staten Island and Long Island came together, and competed with each other as a groups. We are going to organize this once in two months this year.
The competition had 3 different topics, general knowledge, character education and religious education. Each group had their own table and the questions appeared on the big screen. The groups answered the questions at the same time, whoever had the most questions right, they got the first place and a price.
After the competition, students had a chance to swim in the pool, and had a lot of fun.
